How does PRP treatment work?

Dr Patel will take a small sample of your blood and will process it in a centrifuge to separate the platelets found within you blood. Your platelets release growth factors in the treated skin when injected into your skin or scalp. As a result, new collagen begins to develop. As the collagen matures, it begins to shrink causing the tightening and strengthening of the treated area.

A course of 3-4 treatments is recommended to see the best results, however, a single treatment can be carried out depending on your concerns. This will be assessed and discussed with you prior to your treatment.
